The Eureka Math program is designed to help Kindergarten kids develop a strong foundation in mathematics.
The program is broken down into five modules: operations and algebraic thinking, number sense and counting, geometry, measurement, and data analysis and probability. Each module is designed to help students learn key concepts in mathematics, with a focus on understanding rather than memorization.
Eureka Math also includes a variety of interactive activities and games that help students engage with the material and practice what they have learned. And finally, the program encourages parents to be involved in their child’s education by providing homework assignments that can be done together.
Eureka Math is a kindergarten through 5th grade curriculum developed by the New York State Education Department in partnership with Illustrative Mathematics. The curriculum is based on the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics.
The Eureka Math curriculum has been adopted by 44 states across the country and is being used in over 1,700 school districts. It has been praised for its focus on conceptual understanding, problem solving, and real-world applications.
The curriculum is organized into modules that cover a specific topic or set of skills. Each module includes a teacher guide, student workbooks, and assessments. The teacher guide provides step-by-step instructions for teaching each lesson and includes visual aides, such as examples of completed problems and charts.
