Robert

– Prairie High School
I received
my BA in Psychology at California State
University, Northridge, received a MS in
School Psychology at Lewis & Clark College,
Portland. At the end of my Masters program
I was awarded the “Outstanding Graduate
Student” award. My internship requirements
were fulfilled within the Reynolds School
District in Oregon. The next year I started
my career as a school psychologist in BGSD
in August of 1996.
I grew up in
Tarzana CA, which is on the outskirts of the
San Fernando Valley. My wife and I live in
the Evergreen School District service area.
Outside of school, I enjoy day hikes,
reading, and taking in the sights in and
around Portland. In my youth I used to
spend my weekends riding my motorcycle
through the coastal canyons of the Santa
Monica mountains. I also enjoyed body
surfing, flying, and scuba diving.
I am
currently working 1.0 FTE at Prairie High
School. There I serve on several
committees. In addition, I also serve on
several district committees that strive to
make our schools better able to meet the
needs of our student populations.
Over the
years it has been rewarding to see some of
the first students I worked with, at the
elementary level, arrive at our doorstep at
Prairie High. Time flies!
