Rules and Expectations for
All students received this information in the form of a parent letter, which each student returned signed by his/her parent and himself/herself.
Rules:
1. Respect me and your classmates
2. Be in your seat before the second bell is done ringing (exceptions if coming from the top floor of the 400 building)
3. Raise your hand and wait to be called on
4. Use good language
5. No food or drink (water is fine)
6. No cell phones, ipods, or other electronic devices- these will be confiscated and held in the main office until the end of the day
If a student chooses to break a rule, then this is what will occur:
1. warning and log it into the computer
2. call home and log it into the computer
3. send to SMC- log it into the computer for a referral, which becomes part of the student’s disciplinary history
4. if there is a severe disruption, then the student will go directly to an administrator
