- Any of these examples are acceptable for extra
credit. This list is not exclusive;
any ideas you may have can be presented to the teacher and verified.
- Choose a science topic or concept and demonstrate your
knowledge. (Presenting text
information as it occurs will not be accepted.)
- Activity must represent at least 6 hours of work for
maximum extra credit.
- You can earn up to 3% of your overall grade.
- To be eligible, all practice checks must be turned in
and have earned over 50% of the points and all WASL practice must be
turned in for the semester.
- Due before the last week of the semester.
- A journal of time spent on creating the extra credit
must accompany the project. Each
entry needs to identify exactly what was done and how long it took to do
it. It also needs to be verified by
an adult. This journal and the
project will be used to determine the amount of extra credit earned. NO
EXTRA CREDIT WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THIS JOURNAL.
