This class is designed to
ready students for Algebra I. All pre-Algebra skills will be taught, assessed,
and tailored to fit the needs of the individual student.
Students are expected to:
- be in class daily
- complete homework daily
- treat others with respect
Food, candy, and /or drink
is not allowed in the classroom (bottled water is acceptable as long as
the top can be capped).
GRADING CRITERIA
Grades are determined as
follows:
- 10% of grade is based on classroom
participation/performance
- 20% of grade is based on homework
- 70% of grade is based on tests (including the
final). Tests are retaken until passed (C or better).
