Students are expected to
be in class in their seats
with their work out when the tardy bell rings.
Students should come to
class prepared every day. This includes
all of the supplies listed above and a positive attitude for learning.
Students are expected to:
- be in class daily
- complete homework daily
- work together
cooperatively to solve problems
- behave appropriately
- treat others with respect
- "do the right thing"
It is essential
that students attend class daily and are prompt. Much of the learning will take
place within small group interaction and class instruction. If
the student misses the class and/or doesn’t participate in the learning process
(do the work), it will be difficult to make up the work and/or learn the
concepts and skills necessary to succeed in this class. Please try to
schedule appointments outside of the school day.
Food, candy, and /or drink
is not allowed in the classroom (bottled water is acceptable as long as
the top can be capped).
Late work will only be
accepted if the student is absent and if the absence is excused. Students have the number of days s/he was
absent plus one more to complete and turn in all late work.
