Things To Do In The 12th Grade

 For All Students-

Continue to take care of your grades-- Use family access to check your grades regularly
and use your Falcon Planner to keep track of daily assignments and responsibilities.
Review the tips on the "Helping Your Student Succeed" section of the PHS Counseling
 web site.

Review your HS Transcripts and the Graduation Table on Family Access to insure that
you will meet all graduation requirements.  Contact your counselor if you have any
 questions.

Complete your culminating project requirements before 2nd semester begins.  For
information about what is required, visit the "Culminating Project" link on the PHS
Counseling Web Site or contact the Career Center (885-5006).

Consider taking the ASVAB-- Information about the test can be found in the "Testing" link
on the PHS Counseling Web Site.  To register, please go the the career center.

For Students Planning To Attend College-

Take an SAT and an ACT if you have not done so already-- See the SAT and ACT links
in the "Testing" section of the PHS Counseling Web Site for more information.

Visit colleges to determine where you will apply or attend a college fair in October
(see the Counseling Center for more information).

Check the requirements for attending 4-year colleges-- Review the link "Choosing
And Applying For College" on the PHS Counseling Web Site.  Make sure you meet
all College Application deadlines.  If requesting recommendations, please allow
2 weeks for completion prior to any deadline.

Review the "Financial Aid/Scholarships" link on the PHS Counseling Web Site.
Complete your scholarship portfolio in order to apply for scholarships.  Plan to attend a
financial aid workshop in December.  Apply for financial aid as soon after January 1st
as you have necessary financial information.
