Continue to take care of your grades-- Use
family access to check your grades regularly
and use your Falcon Planner
to keep track of daily assignments and responsibilities.
Review
the tips on the "Helping Your Student Succeed" section of the PHS
Counseling
web site.
Revise your H.S. and
Beyond plan-- Study the PHS Planning Guide so that you consider
classes
you want to take throughout high school and plan when to take them.
This will
help make sure you plan when to take each class so that you
meet all pre-requisite
requirements.
Consider taking the ASVAB--
Information about the test can be found in the "Testing"
link on the PHS
Counseling Web Site. To register, please go the the career center.
For Students Planning To
Attend College-
Take the PSAT test in October-- Registration information will be
available in the
Counseling Center in late September.
Check the requirements for attending 4-year colleges-- (Review the link
"Choosing
And Applying For College" on the PHS Counseling Web Site.
Plan for your Activity Sheet--
Continue doing things such as participation in clubs and
sports, serving in
leadership positions, community service, and enrichment activities
such
as classes and summer experiences. Keep track of these and the
honors/awards
earned as well.
