Professional History |
6 years in
medical/surgical nursing, maternal
child health and labor and delivery.
I have been a school nurse since
1983 and have been with the Battle
Ground School District since 1987.
I have been a flight
nurse in the Air Force Reserves for
over 21 years. I am a proud Desert
Shield/Storm, Enduring Freedom and
Iraqi Freedom veteran. I am also a
Liaison Officer for the Air Force
Academy and AFROTC. If you are
interested in attending the Academy
or pursuing an AFROTC scholarship -
please see me (before/after school
or during lunch, of course) |

Philosophy |
Self-responsibility! Now is the time
to start treating school like you
would your job; it's important to be
on time, be prepared and do your
work. Your boss isn't going to care
if you have a headache; so don't
abuse your "sick time" or you might
find yourself out of a job. Learn to
work (attend class) with minor
discomforts, and if you are truly
sick, stay home. |
